Please forgive my ignorance , I saw this photo on an Egyptian site, describing it as following : the Israeli POW Jacob Ronee, who was captured at the Mariam Mountain ambush on the 26th of August 1968. He later died from his wounds while receiving medical care at a hospital. What is the Hebrew translation of his name , what abmbush on Mariam Mountain

You are showing a disturbing obsession towards pictures of Israeli soldiers in humiliating situations.

Seriously, I can find no real research-related reason for posting a photo of a gravely wounded, dying soldier apart from sheer fondness of snuff content.

No not all ! you are jummping the gun and rush to conclussions which are totally inappropriate.This was done in the memory of this soldier and pointing fingers at those Arabs who murdered him and who later on cut a peace deal with Israel, namely Egypt

IDF didn't sufficiently publish info on the circumstances of his disappearance nor the errors which led to his kidnapping near Ismailia.Undoubtedly any IDF personnel kidnapped by the enemy is with or without such posted photos in humiliating situation , moreover humiliating is the lack of info which was not published on him. Last but not least your views are totally wrong and I strongly request you to cease rushing to judgement ,accuse me of something I didn't concieve to do nor inflame the situation for the purpose of creating turmoil.
