The problem is that I can not connect to work from home.

internet connection:
98SE with ADSL modem
Portable PC with XP connected with cross cable to 98SE 100MB ETHERNET.
98SE runs ICS and NORTON antivirus 2005
VPN-1 SecuRemote on XP + VNC
The XP fails to connect.

When connecting the XP directly to the internet (via an analog dialer)
, the XP connects okay.
