Hmm... I guess I was wrong
After researching a little on the web I understand that M47 refers to the entire Dragon missile system
while M222 refers to the actual missle/launcher

The Dragon has fired its last missile. The Army has classified
all Dragon missiles as condition code H (condemned) and wants
the following Dragon equipment turned in:

Three rounds are available for use with the Dragon: the M222 and MK1, MOD 0 tactical rounds (HEAT warheads), and M223 practice round (inert warhead). All rounds use the same basic airframe, aerodynamic control system, command-link wire, and missile electronics design

By some strange coincidence, only a week ago I was hiking in Nachal Dragot and I found this strange round piece of round black foam that looked familiar. I picked it up and my hunch was right, it was the front cover of a Dragon missile tube. G-d only knows how it got there
!
For some reason it always reminded me of the weird hats that the members of DEVO (an 80s new-wave band) used to wear
Probably a little before your time
