Dead in Brazilian plane crash include family, pilots Nov 5, 2007, 18:03 GMT Rio de Janeiro - Six members of a family were killed when a plane crashed into a Brazilian neighbourhood, also killing the craft's two pilots, local media reported Monday. The eight people died in the accident Sunday in the residential Casa Verde neighbourhood of Sao Paulo. Four single family homes were completely destroyed by the crash and the cause of the accident in the northern part of the financial capital remained unclear, authorities said. The deceased included a nine-month-old baby and another child and four adults, who were all members of the same family. A 30-year-old woman and an 11-year-old girl were also severely injured and had been brought to the hospital. Neighbours described a 'hell on Earth.' 'We neighbours of the airport live in constant fear that only grows. I couldn't sleep after the accident,' Dalva Reis, 71, said. Rescue efforts were suspended after six hours without finding any other victims. Reports said the airplane was a Learjet 35A owned by Reali Taxi Aereo and was on its way from the Campo de Marte airport north of Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro.
