Here is my build of Yoav's F-4E.

As you know it is in 1/30 scale , which is a bit large, but fun.

I made many small modifications and parts.

Also, I added the M117 and Mk. 82s on the inner and outer pylons.

Thank you for your support. I agree, this is a fantastic model that Yoav spent allot of time designing. It is also very impressive with its size.

Since it is a popular plane, the F-4E can be loaded up with a great variety of externals. The kit comes with the ALQ jamming pod, Sidewinders, Sparrow and Maverick missiles. In addition there is the center and two wing drop tanks. All very impressive loads.

I decided to load my model with conventional arms as would have been in the 1970's in the IAF service. So mainly M117 and Mk.82 bombs. If some of you remember, I asked for reference material and got it from some of you. It was great information ( Thank you Yaron .

Also, the early Phantoms in IAF service did not have the refueling probe


So here is my load out:[U]

Outer right pylon - 6 Mk. 82 on a MER
Inner right pylon - 3 M117 on TER

Center fuselage - Fuel drop tank
Fuselage forward missile bay - ALQ jamming pod
Fuselage forward missile bay - AIM9 Sidweinder

Outer left pylon - 6 Mk. 82 on a MER
Inner left pylon - 2 AIM 9 Sidewinder


MER is Multiple Ejector Rack
TER is Triple Ejector Rack

The MER, TER and Mk. 82 are enlaged versions of the Model Art A-4N kit ( Thank you Moshe Lemer )
