Anger over pig's blood bullets poster

California National Guard is under attack for poster promoting execution of Islamic terrorists with bullets dipped in pig blood to deny them entry to paradise.

Flier, at guard headquarters in Sacramento, attributes practice to John J Pershing, First World War general.

"Maybe it is time for this segment of history to repeat itself, maybe in Iraq?" it states. "Question is, where do we find another Black Jack Pershing?"

Apocryphal story that resurfaced after Sept-ember 11 claims that Pershing, then military governor of Moro province in Philippines, captured 50 Muslim extremists and executed 49 using bullets dipped in pig blood.

Muslim leaders and peace activists, who saw poster during tour of guard -headquarters, said message raised concerns about soldiers' attitudes to Islam.

Guard spokesman, after initially defending poster, said it had been removed.

Spokesman for Council on American-Islamic Relations in Santa Clara, said: ''It is troubling to see governmental organisation that is dedicated to security, promoting religiously insensitive ideas."

Tour came after peace groups and senator raised questions about unit, set up to oversee range of anti-terrorism projects in state.

אני יודע שהסיבה שלא רוצים לעטוף את המחבלים בחזיר,
או דם חזיר, היא שהרבנים לא רוצים להתעסק עם זה.

אם זה היה תלוי בי הייתי עוטף אתם בחזיר עם ניילון לשמירת טריות,
וזורק אותם ליד הבית שלהם.

מוזר, אני דווקא שמעתי שאת השאהידים המוסלמים במלאיה הרעיון הזה השאיר בבית.

שמעתי אותה אינספור פעמים על טריליוני מקומות, אבל מעולם לא מצאתי איזה מקור מהימן לשימוש כזה, לא כל שכן לכך שזה עובד, לא כל שכן לכך שלא תוצא איזו פתווה שאומרת שזה לא משנה כלום.
