דומה מאוד לבוחן מסלול הצה"ל. אפילו הם השקיעו. צבעו את קורות העץ בצבע אדום לבן.

עם כל הצחוק על המופע קרקס של לקפוץ דרך חישוקים בוערים, חייבים להודות שבסך הכל, זה דיי מפחיד.
אם אצלנו חיילים צעירים חוששים מלקפוץ מעל קיר או לטפס על חבל בגובה 5 מטרים, אז אצלם מדובר באדם עם משפחה וילדים שעושה דברים הרבה יותר מפחידים עם פוטנציאל גבוה הרבה יותר להיפצע בצורה חמורה - ובלי מערכת הבריאות והפיצויים שחייל צה"ל יודע שהוא יקבל אם חס וחלילה יקרה לו משהו.
אם מישהו היה יורה לי 20 ס"מ מהרגליים כשאני זוחל, או ישר לנקודה שבה אני אמור לנחות אחרי שקפצתי דרך חישוק בוער, הייתי משקשק.

זה אולי לא מקנה להם יכולות לחימה אבל בכל זאת, זה מראה שיש להם אומץ.

תרגיל כזה עם רובה מכודן לא נראה סימפאטי במיוחד, מעניין מה קורה באימונים...

הפתח לקנה המקלע המקביל.
מעניין שהוא נמצא בצד ימין של הצריח ולא בצד שמאל - קרוב לטען.
התו"ל שלהם שונה ואם יש איו"ר אז התותחן מתפעל את המקביל? מי ממלא את התחמושת כשהיא נגמרת? נראה קצת לא נוח.

חשבתי שבטנקים באמריקנים יש גם מערכת משנית - טלסקופ (כמו בפאטונים למשל), למקרה שהמערכת הראשית מתקלקלת.

למקלע כבד 0.5 בתור מקלע כבד מקביל יהיה הייתרון מבחינת טווח אפקטיבי, אבל נראה לי שב7.62 מספק את הסחורה.
המקלע מיועד לפגוע בחי"ר, והקליע של המאג עושה את העבודה. הקצב אש שלו מהיר יותר, אפשר להחזיק הרבה יותר תחמושת 7.62 מאשר 0.5 אינץ', ובעוד שמקלע מאג יורה הרבה וכשהקנה מתחמם אפשר להחליף אותו בקלות ובמהירות, ההחלפה של הקנה של המק"כ לוקחת יותר זמן. ואל תשכח את ההוראה שצריך לכוון אותו כל מספר לא גדול של כדורים. להעביר go-no go באמצע קרב יכול להיות לא נעים.


למה בחרו ב7.62 למקלע מקביל? מאותה סיבה שבוחרים בו ברוב הטנקים.
אני חושב שהתבלבלת בין overkill ל under kill. גם לא הבנתי את הקשר למחשב הירי. מחשב ירי מחשב זווית הגבהה והיסט עבור מא"ג בדיוק כפי שהוא עושה זאת עבור מק"כ.


כמונו, רוב הטנקים האירופאים משתמשים במקלע 7.62 כמקלע מקביל וגם כמקלע נ"מ (שהוא המקלע מפקד). האמריקנים משתמשים ב0.5 כמקלע מפקד עוד מימי מלחמת העולם השניה, ובטנקים בעירק התווסף מאג טען.

יש לטנק הAMX-30 הצרפתי יש תותח מקביל 20מ"מ. הלה-קלרק הצרפתי החדש יותר משתמש במקלע 12.7 מ"מ כמקלע מקביל (לא יודע אם מדובר במק"כ). מעניין באמת מה הביצועים שלו, ומדוע לא המשיכו עם ה20מ"מ, כפי שהיה בAMX30.

מעניין למה לא שמו בתור מקביל במקום המקלע 7.62 או בנוסף לו תותח של מטוס ?
מדובר בכלי האידיאלי לתפקיד. מדוייק מאוד, בעל עוצמה והכי חשוב מיועד לשליטה מרחוק ואמין כי הטייס לא יכול לצאת החוצה כדי לתפעל מעצור.
גם מדובר בפתרון זול יחסית כי יש המון כלים כאלו במטוסים שיצאו משימוש. אולי התחמושת יקרה אבל אם היא תהיה בנוסף למקלע 7.62 אז ישתמשו בה רק במקרים שיצדיקו את זה כמו לחדור קירות של בניינים, או לירות על רכבים קלים.

עריכה: ושכחתי להוסיף עוד יתרון חשוב מאוד והוא הטווח הגדול.

אם אני לא טועה, אז התותחים שהיו מורכבים על המטוסים הישנים היו מקוררים על ידי אוויר.
טנק, כידוע, לא תמיד יורה תוך כדי תנועה, וגם אם כן אז הוא לא נע מהר מספיק.
כמובן שאפשר לצרף אמצעי קירור אבל זה קצת יסרבל את העסק.
המקלע המקביל של הצ'לנג'ר הבריטי הוא לא מקלע "רגיל" כמו המאג עם העורפן בטנקים שלנו, אלא סוג של תותח בקליבר 7.62. הבנתי שיש להם לא מעט בעיות איתו.

אני מסכים איתך שיש צורך בתותח מהיר ירי בעל קליבר בינוני, שיהיה יעיל לטווח גדול יותר משל המא"ג, עם כושר חדירה גבוה מספיק כדי לחדור קירות ושקי חול, תחמושת זולה מספיק כדי שניתן יהיה להשתמש בו ועם קצב ירי מהיר יותר משל התותח.

אם תותח הוולקן היה יעיל בירי על בניינים במלחמת הלבנון הראשונה, ובמבצע חומת מגן, 20 שנה לאחר מכן הוא עשה קאמבק, אז אני לא יודע איך לא מפיקים את הלקחים מכך. במיוחד אחרי המלחמה האחרונה בה נמצא שהחימוש הנוכחי של הטנק לא יעיל מספיק כנגד חי"ר וחוליות נ"ט. הייתי שמח לראות כלי בסגנון ה BMP-T בפעולות צה"ל בשטחים מיושבים/בנויים במקום טנקים שלא מקבלים אישור לבצע ירי כבד בגלל הנזק שפגז יגרום.
