הורדתי ת GD ואין לי שמץ איך להתקין אותו על ה PHP?! יש לי PHP4.......

אם אתה על Windows, והשרת מותקן אצלך במחשב,
קודם כל אני ממליץ על התקנת PHP5.
בכול אופן, תפתח את קובץ php.ini שנמצא בספריית C:\windows .
חפש שם את זה: extension=php_gd2.dll; או extension=php_gd.dll;
ותוריד את התו הראשון (נקודה-פסיק ;) מהשורה.
ודא לפני שספריית ה Extensions שלך מוגדרת כמו שצריך.

ואיפה נמצא הקובץ DLL? אני צריך להוריד אותו? מאיפה?

אתה לא צריך להוריד אותו.
