Combined Challenge 2006 is a land warfare exercise in which all Swedish army regiments and one infantry platoon from Hammelburg, Germany will participate.

The task is to carry out a peace-enforcing mission in "Bogaland". Units will be operating in a complex FIBUA environment. 6 000 conscripts, 1 500 officers and civilians, the Home Guard, 400 IFVs, 50 MBTs, aircraft, and helicopters will partake in this exercise.

1)גם אני שואל אם מישהו מזהה את הרובה העיקרי של הכוחות??
2)שמתי לב שלרוב הרובים יש כיסוי פלסטיק/גומי על הרובה (כנראה לבלום את התרמילים)
מישהו נתקל בזה בעוד מקום ?? האם הרעיון יעיל ?

1) נראה כמו G3 תוצרת Heckler & Koch.

גם ככה כיום ברוב הנשקים (לפחות החדשים) מותקן מסית תרמילים שאמור לפתור את רוב הבעיות.

הכיסוי יכול לגרום לכמה בעיות:
א. גרימת מעצורים, זיהויים ותפעולם - לא צריך הרבה משקל כדי למנוע מכדור לעוף, ומספיק שהחתיכת פלסטיק הזאת מכסה את הפתח פליטה כדי לגרום למעצור.
נגיד יש לך מעצור, לא משנה מאיזה סיבה, הדבר הזה יפריע לך לזהות המעצור ויקח ממך עוד כמה שניות מיותרות, ואם כבר זיהית אותו, אז עכשיו לתפעל אותו עם החתיכת פלסטיק הזאת נראה לי בכלל מכה.
ב. מסתיר בעת ירי - עם כל הריצות, קפיצות וזחילות, הדבר היחיד שחסר עכשיו זה לגלות פתאום שהדבר הזה מסתיר לך את הכוונת או סתם מתעופף לו מול המטרה בדיוק כשאתה רוצה לירות כי קצת רוח...

מה שכן, במקרה והדבר הזה מיועד למנוע משלג להיכנס לקנה אז זה כבר סיפור אחר לגמרי שאני ממש לא מבין בו...
