Conclusion
Pitting the Corsair 3200XL against the PC3200 Platinum rev. 2 was like putting a white belt against Jackie Chan. It was simply no contest, the OCZ ran faster at all tested speeds, managed tighter timings with the same amount of voltage, and when it came to overclocking, sent the Corsair home crying to its mother. OCZ could easily sell this ram as PC4200, that just happens to be able to also run 433mhz at 2-5-2-2, with less voltage than its stock rating. I’ve tested a lot of OCZ ram here at OcPrices, and the PC3200 Platinum takes the cake as the best one yet. Very highly recommended. |
