There are no words to describe the horror in this video, which shows the crash of a Caspian Airlines airliner with 168 people on board. The crash happened on July 15, 2009, but this is the first time the video has been published. Correction: The video actually shows another crash, which happened in September 22, 2009 near Tehran. The plane going down is a IL-76MD Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force, a military plane with seven people on board. All of them were killed.
The accident was captured by the crew of a military Lockheed C-130 Hercules, who at the time was recording the flight of a McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II. [Thank you for the heads up, readers!]
