In use by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), every component of this powerful platform, including a specially manufactured crew cabin, engine,fuel & oil tanks, hydraulic and electrical systems, are sheathed in customer -defined ballistic armor.
Features and Equipment
Standard configuration includes weapon mounts, compartments, spot-light and projector lamps and communications equipment. Optional equipment includes smoke grenade launchers and provisioning for customer-specific communication equipment.
Specifications- Can be operated from up to 3 kilometers (line-of-sight) or 500-700 meters (non line of sight) in built-up urban areas.
- 6 standard cameras for driving, operation and observation including day and night capability and an additional look-out area.
- Can be operated by infantry or mounted personnel.
- Up to four hours of continuous operation
- Weight of vehicle is 60 tons.
- All dozers/engineering capabilities of the standard D9 Dozer can be carried out by remote control.
- Can be operated as a manned or unmanned vehicle per mission requirements at the posh of a button.
- Advanced human engineering interface to allow extended use by personnel,
- Ability to display up to four camera views simultaneously/
- Ability to have multiple control units combined in order to separate cameras and operational functionality.
- Operable in rough terrain.
- On board electronic navigation system which can integrate existing maps and diagrams.
