Czech Defence Ministry plans to buy additional batch of 20 Pandur II infantry fighting vehicles

The Czech Defence Ministry will place an order for the supply of 20 Pandur infantry fighting vehicles in July, Deputy Defence Minister Jiri Borovec told CTK (Czech News Agency) yesterday, adding that the vehicles are needed for the military staff and liaison purposes. Swedish Armed Forces Confirms Second Sighting of Suspicious Submarine

Swedish Armed Forces report they have conducted a second submarine search operation in October, just one week after ending a major operation to track and locate a "foreign underwater activity" around the archipelago of Stockholm. In November, the Swedish Armed Forces released images of tracks on the sea bed and an apparent submarine periscope which it said proved that "a mini submarine violated Swedish territory" between October 17 and October 24 and that "at least one vessel" was involved. French Navy Horizon Class Destroyer Chevalier Paul Succeeds in Complex Air Defense Test

The "missile test" division of the French procurement agency (DGA) and the French Navy conducted on 13 January 2015 a complex firing test: The scenario consisted in the launch of an Aster 30 surface-to-air missile from the Horizon class air defense destroyer Chevalier Pau" (D621) against an air target pursuing a friendly aircraft. The objective was to confirm the discrimination and intercept ability of the Aster 30 missile when faced with two very interlinked radar tracks

Bulgaria could turn to Poland to maintain its MiG-29 fighter aircraft fleet

Because of the inflated prices being charged, Bulgaria will no longer rely on Russia to maintain its MiG-29 fighters but could reassign the business to Poland, Bulgarian Defence Minister Nikolai Nenchev told public broadcaster Bulgarian National Television.
