Modash
Works for the Pikud, and is a BATASH type task and for the most part is routin keeping out an open ear and eye in their area.
Doesnt work for an individual unit and will only be used by a specific Unit during a mission if the unit feels it can use the help of Modash WHO ARE ALREDY STATIONED IN THAT AREA and may have Eyes and Ears that could benefit the Unit operating.
As stated before-
Eevery Combat Unit has up to some degree a Patrol/Recon Team. They vary in their capabilities according to the structure of the unit. For example:
A Gdud will have a Machleket Patrol/Siyyur, who in theory should have the ability to navigate, and bring back intelligence to the Battalion commander etc. This Machlaka is used to the level of a GDUD and not a CHATIVA and there for it is smaller in size, manpower, equipment and resources and is not used at the level of a PALSAR which is a company working for the Chativa and not the individual Gdud and therefor have the mobility and special skills needed to conduct apon tasked to.
A machleket siyyur in Hadassa Kravit for example, may be an exellent Machlaka with exellent lochamim, but at the end of the dayit is a Machlaka in a regular Gdud, and may carry out more difficult tasks for the Gdud itself, is not recognized nor needed by the highger Pikud as a Unit with specific Importance that can change outlook in war for a Chativa/Ugda/Pikud.
