שאלתי בעבר את אותה השאלה בפורומים של f-16.net
וזו התשובה שקיבלתי:
During aerial refueling the fuel flows through the same refuel/transfer line as during ground refueling. The pilot opens the air refuel door, the pressure in the internal tanks is reduced to 1-3 psid and the pressure in the external tanks goes to 0 psid. Fuel then flows to the tanks as normal refueling.
