In this scan from the book
Bnei HaKeshet, you see the same monument at
Tzomet Kabatia. I assume that it was taken sometime later since the black burned parts here seem to be cleaned up and repainted. Here you can still see part of the original Jordanian paint scheme and markings.

I noticed that the black plaque in the middle of the rock pile, with the names of the 51 fallen of the 67 war does not appear in the photos posted by Ziv Harel.
I recently visited the 188 HQ base in the Golan and saw that this plaque is now located in the memorial garden there.
Like I wrote before, I wonder if it would be possible to recreate the original monument with the tank + boulders, either in Latrun or at the 188 HQ?
I had the "pleasure" of spending 3 months in
Machane Bezeq for the first part of basic training (
shlav alef) beginning in Aug 1985. I think that it was officially named
Machane Moshe or
Musa, but it was always referred to as just
Bezeq. Zbebda were our neighbors to the south and I remember running through the town one morning on a
madas.
Kabatia we only visited at night during the marches. It was the first time that I experienced the burning smell and barking dogs of an Arab village.
In my time Gdud 17 was located in Yerucham, as part of Hativa
